  • Aim to ensure proper operations by business operators, promote sound development of lifelong support businesses for the elderly, and facilitate a safe use of services.
  • Apply to business operators that continuously provide identification guarantee services or post-mortem administrative services, based on a contract with an individual.
  • Businesses should provide an explanation on contracts, detailed support, such as coordination with medical/nursing professionals, explanation to presumptive heirs.
  • Avoid setting donation/bequest as contract conditions, use a notarized will for bequest.
  • Retain records on the timing, content, and cost of the services provided, report the details to users, guardians on a regular basis; separately manage advance payments from operating funds; inform users of specific steps required for contract termination.
  • Utilize the adult guardianship system where a user's judgement ability is insufficient.
  • Disclose information on website, ensure proper handling of personal information, ensure business continuity, and set up a consultation desk for safe service usage.
