High-Risk Jurisdictions
FATF has maintained North Korea (DPRK), Iran, and Myanmar as the countries on list of high-risk jurisdictions subject to call for action, also referred to as the black list.
Updated list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring to include Lao People's Democratic Republic and Nepal; removed Philippines following successful on-site visit.
Plenary Outcomes
Agreed changes to FATF standards to support risk-based approach, financial inclusion.
Endorsed changes to recommendation to further reaffirm importance of risk-based approach to assessing and mitigating money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
To support the implementation of changes to FATF standards on financial inclusion (see #231515), the FATF plenary agreed to launch a further public consultation.
Agreed to consult relating to payment transparency, complex proliferation financing, sanctions evasions, continue seek widest possible range of views, perspectives.
