On Jan. 6, UK LSE stated XLON ex-marker reference data file change.
UK LSE issued a Service Announcement to inform customers of a change to the XLON Ex-Marker file where customers may see more than one entry for same Instrument ID.
Announcement Summary
Currently, where there are multiple corporate actions with the same start date within the same Instrument ID, only a single line is now provided in the XLON Ex-Marker file.
Following the change, in the above-mentioned circumstance, each individual corporate action event in the same Instrument ID will have its own independent line on the XLON Ex-Marker file, detailing that specific corporate action event's Ex and Payment dates.
Effectiveness
Change will be available to Customer Development Service (CDS) from Jan. 17, 2025, with an expected production go-live for change later in Q1 2025, date to be confirmed.
