TAI TPEX Simplified Updating Process

On Jan. 7, TAI TPEX amended process to update counterparty data.

  • TAI TPEX revised Rules governing the management of the derivatives trading information repository system; aligns with introduction of centralized clearing services for OTC derivatives, simplifes the process for FIs to report updates to counterparties.
  • For transactions not submitted through repository system but already cleared through centralized clearing, TPEX may update counterparty details based on data provided.
  • Follows TAI FEX Dec. 2024 revised derivatives clearing enforcement rules, #236479.
  • Effectiveness
  • The changes are effective from Jan. 20, 2025.
