On Jan. 6, GE GVT issued notice on scope of cybercrime convention.

  • Notice confirmed the accession of Ecuador, under Article 37 paragraph 2, in accordance with deposit of instrument of accession under Articles 24, 27 and 35 of the Convention.
  • Announcement follows announcement of Aug. 6, 2024, Federal Law Gazette 340/2024.
  • Effectiveness
  • Ecuador's accession to join the the Convention will now take effect from Apr. 1, 2025.
