Summary
The assistance program is for factories that consume fuels designed to help local industries adapt to the carbon tax by offering support to reduce carbon emissions through greenhouse gas capture, elimination, and improved production processes.
This is a new assistance track introduced as part of Director General's directive 4.80.
Effectiveness
Questions about terms, as outlined in the directive/appendices, can be submitted by Dec. 5, 2024, before the track opens; applications can be submitted on Dec. 19, 2024.
