MEX CB proposed amendments to Circulars 13/2017 and 14/2017 regarding the indirect participation in the MEX CB Electronic interbank payment system (SPEI).
Highlights
Aims to continue promoting proper functioning of payment systems and the healthy development of the financial system and the protection of the interests of the public.
Modified Circulars to regulate the processing of operations between different indirect participants of the same participant, as part of the indirect participation scheme.
Also to detail, specify and complement obligations contained in SPEI framework.
Proposed amendments establish regulatory elements that must be met by participants.
In addition, various improvements to SPEI regulations to further good user experience.
Finally, to ensure that participants have adequate understanding of their obligations.
