On Sep. 18, ALSK INS issued notice of a public hearing for Oct. 9.
ALSK INS issued a Notice of public hearing H24-02 scheduled for Oct. 9. 2024.
The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public testimony regarding types of insurance for which insureds generally are unable to secure coverage from admitted insurers.
Subsequently, the director of ALSK INS, may issue an order under ALSK INS 3.25.040.
The order will update the Surplus lines placement list with these types of insurance.
Consultation
Public may present oral or written relevant statements or comments at the hearing.
Hearing scheduled for Oct. 9, 2024; comments must be submitted by Oct. 23, 2024.
