General License 109, Authorizing the Wind Down of Transactions Involving Certain Entities Blocked on September 13, 2024, authorizes certain winddown transactions.
Authorizes winddown with Federal State Unitary Enterprise International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya, and Autonomous Non Profit Organization TV Novosti.
As well as subsidiaries that aforementioned entities own 50% of greater interest in.
Does not authorize transactions per Directive 2 or Directive 4 under EO 14024.
The winddown transactions are authorized through 12:01 a.m. EST on Nov. 13, 2024.
GL 25F
General License 25F supersedes and replaces GL 25E, issued Sep. 4, 2024, #215700.
Entitled Authorizing Transactions Related to Telecommunications and Certain Internet-Based Communications under certain circumstances, provided set criteria are met.
Transactions with Federal State Unitary Enterprise International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya,Autonomous Non Profit Organization TV Novosti are not authorized.
Unless transactions are separately authorized, may not be conducted under GL 25F.
FAQ 1040
The FAQ 1040 was amended to clarify that transactions with Rossiya Segodnya and Autonomous Non Profit Organization TV Novosti are not authorized under GL 25F.
