SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma small businesses suffering economic losses due to drought that began on Aug. 27, 2024.
Eligibility
Eligible primary OKL counties of Cotton, Tillman; neighboring OKL counties Comanche, Jackson, Jefferson, Kiowa, Stephens; Texas counties of Clay, Wichita and Wilbarger.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the impacted businesses had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any property damage.
Application Deadline
Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to the SBA by May 5, 2025.
