UK Treasury issued Financial services and markets act 2023 (commencement no. 7) regulations 2024 (StIn 2024/891), bringing into force provisions of FSMA 2023 (UK).
Follows UK Treasury May 2024 issued FSMA 2023 commencement no. 6, see #211538.

Securitization Provisions
Section 1 revokes assimilated law re financial services/markets referred to in Sch. 1.
Regulation 2 brings into force section 1(1) of the act so far as it relates to revocation of certain instruments (or provisions of instruments) referred to in Sch 1 to the act.
Those instruments or provisions are as follows: so far as its revocation is not already in force, Reg 2017/2402 laying down a general framework for securitization and creating a specific framework for simple, transparent and standardized securitization.
