Eligibility
Extension offered to survivors living in FEMA-provided manufactured housing units.
In Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hardee, Lee, Sarasota and Volusia counties.
Those continuing to live in FEMA temporary housing units after Sep. 29, 2024 must make timely rent payments, document progress toward permanent housing plan.
Must work with their housing advisor for recertification at least every two weeks.
Follow health, safety, and other terms and conditions in the licensing agreement.
Effectiveness
Survivors' permanent housing plan must be completed by Mar. 29, 2025.
