On Aug. 30, KNY LEG issued amendment re rural housing trust fund.
KNY INS issued an emergency rule to amend Kentucky administrative regulations, KNY LEG 202-2:020E, rural housing trust fund, to amend the qualification criteria.
Rural Housing Trust Fund
Amended qualification criteria to include single-family project applications for federally declared disaster area or displaced by event triggering a federal disaster declaration.
Must be displaced within 24 months of event triggering federal disaster declaration.
Applications also ranked by creation of new housing supply, location in rural areas with significant job growth, location in counties shown to have a housing supply gap.
Projects given contributions from government, employer/combination of local sources.

Hearing will be held at KNY Housing Corporation on Sep. 23, 2024, those who wish to speak at the hearing should notify the agency in writing 5 workdays prior to hearing.
Written comments on proposed administrative regulations are due by Sep. 30, 2024.
Effectiveness
Emergency rulemaking effective Aug. 6, 2024.
