BRZ Anbima opened public hearing on Certification Rules and Procedures document, now linked to Distribution and Third-Party Asset Management and Administration.
With the implementation of the change, the Certification Code will be discontinued.

BRZ Anbima published technical guidelines for professionals to apply for certifications.
Rules for Institutions
The document establishes the obligation for the institution to have or hire a substitute professional in cases where person responsible for resource management is absent.
Such as on vacation or leave; both professionals must have certifications for the role.
Reinforces that only certified professionals can be responsible for making decisions.
Consultation
This is mandatory for institutions following Distribution and Administration and Management of Third-Party Resources codes, comments until Sep. 19 by email.
Technical Guidelines for Professionals
Technical guidelines for professionals, who are not subject to the public consultation.
These are operational standards for conducting exams, such as registration guidelines.
There are new parameters for exemption, expiration, and update of certifications.
Effectiveness
The regulations will come into force on Jan. 2, 2025.
These are not related to Distribution certifications, which will be effective in Jan. 2026.
