Declaration makes Public Assistance Program available to those in designated counties.
Public Assistance Program provides grants to State, local governments to assist with disaster recovery, including debris removal and emergency protective measures.
The Program, also assists with permanent restoration of community infrastructure.
FEMA can fund up to seventy five percent of the eligible costs of approved projects.
Aug. 2024 SBA Private Non-Profits Aid
On Aug. 22, 2024, SBA made disaster loans available to certain Private non-profits (PNPs) that do not provide critical services of a governmental nature to public.
Eligible PNP organizations in the counties of Coos and Grafton may apply for loans.
Such as kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools.
PNP organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets.
Applicants may be eligible for a loan amount increase of up to 20% of their physical damages, as verified by the SBA, for mitigation purposes to aid in future disasters.
SBA also offers PNPs Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) to help meet working capital needs, such as ongoing operating expenses regardless of physical damage.
Filing deadline for physical damage is Oct. 21, 2024; for EIDLs May 20, 2025.
