CAN ONT FSRA requires all licensed insurance companies in Ontario writing auto insurance to complete and submit the Annual Auto Insurance Attestation form.
Attestation required, under the authority of section 442.3 of Insurance Act, CAN GVT RSO 1990 c I.8, s 442 to promote high standards of business conduct by insurers.
Annual Auto Insurance Attestation
The insurance company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or most senior officer responsible for operations in Ontario must attest that the company adheres to laws.
This year’s attestation also includes reporting all Minor Rating and Underwriting Rule Errors for the period Jan. 1, 2024, to Dec. 31, 2024, to FSRA by Feb. 17, 2025.
Reporting Deadline
The signed attestation form must be submitted by email by Oct. 31, 2024.
