On Aug. 8, IND INS notified re data submission to Information Bureau.
IND INS said life insurers must submit data to Insurance Information Bureau of India (IIBI) for specified periods and in the formats outlined in a table within the circular.
Data Submission
Data categories and formats are provided; include individual life insurance, individual annuitant policies, group annuitant policies, critical illness products, group credit life.
Also group term insurance, and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY).
From FY 2024-25 onwards, insurers are required to continue submitting the data annually within three months of the completion of each financial year.
