IND CVC said Vigilance awareness week 2024 will be held from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3, 2024.

Preparation
All organizations may undertake a three-month campaign from Aug. 16 to Nov. 15 on preventative vigilance, focused on capacity building programs, system improvements, updating circulars/guidelines/manuals, handling of complaints, and digital presence.
Action taken report re the above preventative measures shall be submitted by Nov. 30.
Aug. 2024 Observing Vigilance Awareness Week
On Aug. 28, 2024, IND CVC issued circular with respect to observance of vigilance awareness week 2024, and reminded the week will be from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3, 2024.
IND CVC said the theme for the week is Culture of integrity for nation's prosperity.
Observance would start with taking of the integrity pledge on Oct. 28 at 11:00am.
Circular includes some annexures, including annexure B, which is an integrity pledge for organizations; IND CVC said all organizations are advised to conduct activities relevant to the theme that strives to bring about maximum public participation.
It is imperative that all organizations should conduct outreach programs that aim to sensitize the public about the need for transparency and integrity in public governance.
Activities which may be conducted within organizations include encouraging employees to take e-pledge on IND CVC's website; conduct workshops/sensitization programs.
