ESP Mintur launched 3rd call of Digital Generation SMEs for applications re training.
Follows ESP GVT Mar. 2023 issued call for digital training programs for SMEs #168060.
Overview
New call includes more flexible training at national level with formats better adapted to recipients needs: 50-hour programs, virtual modality, greater diversity in study topics.
EOI Foundation is responsible for managing the investment planned for this initiative.
In this call it initially amounts to 50.7 million euros from the Recovery Plan funds.
The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Civil Service, via State Secretariat for Digitalization and AI, Mintur and EOI Foundation published the new call in the OG.
Like the other previous 2 calls within initiative, seeks to promote digital transformation of Spanish SMEs, improving productivity, possibilities for growth, internationalization.
Key Aspects
The goal of this initiative is to offer training programs in field of digital transformation to people from management teams of SMEs and their employees.
To provide them with key skills to help the digital transformation of their companies.
Grants in call, in form of subsidies, are directed to reference Training Entities in Spain.
These entities will be responsible for delivering training programs in national territory.
To show how technology impacts business, to put customer at center to provide solutions to their needs, generating and exploiting data for business decision-making.
Also will aim to reduce gender digital divide by increasing the number of women trained in digital management of SMEs.
Other Aspects
EOI Foundation to manage investment from component 19 of the Recovery Plan funds.
Digital Generation SMEs complements rest of Generation D projects started in 2023.
Call, part of Component 19 National Digital Capabilities, aims to guarantee training and digital inclusion of citizens, workers, in digital transformation of society and economy.
