TAI FSC said the Securities and Futures Bureau reviewed regulations issued between Jul. 1, 2004 and Jun. 30, 2005, and identified 305 regulations deemed unnecessary, outdated, or no longer relevant due to changes in responsibilities or legal status.
Follows TAI FSC Sep. 2020 initiated work to adjust and simplify regulations, #86990.
Removal
These regulations will be removed from the inquiry system starting Dec. 20, 2024.
Stakeholders can provide feedback on the removal within 20 days, until Jul. 29, 2024.
Sep. 2024 Banking Bureau
On Sep. 20, 2024, TAI FSC said Banking Bureau reviewed regulations issued between Jul. 1, 2004 and Jun. 30, 2005; certain regulations were found unnecessary, outdated.
A total of 14 legal provisions and 99 administrative directives are set for removal.
These regulations will be removed from the inquiry system starting Oct. 31, 2024.
Stakeholders can provide feedback on the removal within 20 days, until Oct. 10, 2024.
Sep. 23, 2024 Financial Inspection Bureau
On Sep. 23, 2024, TAI FSC said the Financial Inspection Bureau reviewed regulations issued between Jul. 1, 2004 and Jun. 30, 2005; one legal provision is set for removal.
The outdated provision will be removed from the inquiry system on Oct. 31, 2024.
Stakeholders can provide feedback on the removal within 20 days, until Oct. 13, 2024.
