  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Idaho small businesses.
  • Offset economic losses because of reduced revenues due to drought beginning Apr. 15.
  • Eligibility
  • EIDLs available in primary Idaho counties of Bonner, Clearwater; neighboring Idaho counties of Boundary, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce and Shoshone.
  • Disaster loan assistance also available in Montana counties of Lincoln, Mineral, Missoula and Sanders; and Washington counties of Pend Oreille and Spokane.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs.
  • EIDLs of up to $2 million are available to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only and not on any actual damage.
  • Application Deadline
  • The deadline to apply for economic injury disaster loans Feb. 18, 2025.
