On Jun. 10, SWI SIX said customers must migrate by end Sep. 2024.
SWI SIX will discontinue Finance IPNet as an access channel to its infrastructure services at end of Sep. 2024; replaced by Secure Swiss Finance Network (SSFN).
Migration Update
Secure Swiss Finance Network (SSFN) communication network will replace Finance IPNet as the access channel for SWI SIX customers at the end of Sep. 2024.
As of May 2024, around 90% of affected SIX customers had initiated migration.
Approx. two-thirds of SIX customers have SSFN connection and in process of migrating to the services, or have already done so; customers who will continue to rely on access channels other than SSFN, e.g. proprietary fiber connections, also making progress.
All SWI SIX customers with a Finance IPNet connection are requested to follow the fully migrated customers and complete migration to SSFN in good time.
