Bill Provisions
No alien or person who is not a citizen of US or foreign government adversary shall acquire title to or own land in State either directly or indirectly through business entity.
Does not apply to business entity engaged in regulated interstate commerce or that has a national security agreement with the CFIUS in accordance with federal law.
On or after Nov. 1, 2023, any deed recorded with county clerk shall include as an exhibit to deed an affidavit executed by the person, attestation regarding compliance.
OKL AG to promulgate a separate affidavit form for individuals and for business entities or trusts to comply with requirements, may establish additional exemptions.
