Bill amends 2-417, 2-418, 2-504 of Employment security act of 1980, OKL LEG 40.
Bill Provisions
Bill provides that the Commission shall take the enumerated actions to verify the eligibility of an initial claim for benefits before paying benefits to that claim.
Including requiring the claimant to submit proof of identity prior to his or her claim.
Claimant must use identity verification source or service offered by the Commission.
Commission must use a diverse set of data deemed beneficial by the Commission.
Including but not limited to IP addresses and various other demographic data.
It shall investigate any information that may indicate a claimant's ineligibility.
Individual will be disqualified from receiving benefits if not meet the minimum number of weekly work search efforts as required by the Employment Security Commission.
Alternatively if not make the minimum number of applications for work as required.
