CHI GVT, CHI CAC issued Interim measures for data security management of accounting firms, as part of implementing Opinions on further regulating financial audit order to promote the healthy development of the certified public accountant industry.
It responds to legal requirements such as the Cybersecurity law and Data security law, refining regulations for network, data security management in the accounting industry.
Supervision and inspection section includes information sharing, inspections, security reviews, penalties; specific regulations address scope, data classification, manuscript management, network security, controllable security, and regulatory responsibilities.
Aim is to enhance data security management of accounting firms, promote industry development, strengthen regulatory oversight for effective data security management.
Effectiveness
These measures come into effect from Oct. 1, 2024.
