Bill Provisions
Prohibited consumer reporting agencies from including criminal proceedings in reports.
In which consumer was falsely accused, acquitted, or exonerated, nolle prosequi was entered as to a charge concerning consumer, or that did not result in a guilty verdict.
May not include any criminal records concerning consumer that have been expunged.
Also prohibited consumer reporting agencies from relying on information in certain criminal proceedings to make a determination of the creditworthiness of a consumer.
