SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available in Georgia too small businesses and residents impacted by the drought that began on Dec. 15, 2023.
Neighboring GA counties of Banks, Catoosa, Cobb, Forsyth, Fulton, Hall, Paulding, Polk, Stephens, and Walker, and counties in ALA, NC, SC, and TN as listed in press release.
EIDLs up to $2 million are available to eligible farm-related and nonfarm-related entities that suffered financial losses as a direct result of this drought disaster.
These working capital loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the disaster not occurred.
Deadline
Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to the SBA by Nov. 25, 2024.
