On Feb. 21, SBA made disaster aid available to Michigan businesses.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Michigan businesses as a result of excessive rain that occurred during the period Jul. 13 through Sep. 1, 2023.
Eligibility
EIDLs are available in Michigan for small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits with economic losses.
Low-interest disaster loans are available in the Michigan counties of Bay, Genesee, Gratiot, Huron, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, and Tuscola.
Available to eligible farm-related and nonfarm-related firms suffering financial losses.
These working capital loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the disaster not occurred to them.
Application Deadline
Completed applications must be submitted to SBA no later than Oct. 15, 2024.
