SBA CAL Economic Injury Business Aid

  • SBA reported that Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) are available to California small businesses in certain areas affected by Hurricane Hilary on Aug. 19-20, 2023.
  • Eligibility
  • Primary county is Kern, with aid also available in adjacent counties of Inyo, Kings, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare and Ventura.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs up to $2 million.
  • Aid is intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the victim companies had the California disaster not occurred.
  • Application Deadline
  • The deadline to apply for economic injury disaster assistance is Oct. 15, 2024.
