  • To ensure credit unions can support Americans struggling with inflation, agency will no longer publish overdraft and non-sufficient fund fee income for individual credit unions.
  • The agency will instead collect overdraft, NSF data during supervisory examinations.
  • Agency will continue to publish the overdraft and the non-sufficient fund fee income data in the aggregate once updates to the agency's examination system are complete.

  • The new policy will become effective with the Mar. 31, 2025, Call Report cycle.
