IND NSD enhanced d-DPM system to mandatorily capture the pledge request received date for pledge registration by participants, to comply with IND SEBI requirements.
According to SEBI's guidelines under Description of services, depository participants have to register pledge within 15 days from date of receipt of proper documents.
Follows IND SEBI May 2024 modified existing charters for better protection, #214053.

Enhancement
The field request received date from BO (beneficial owner) will be used in the pledge initiation module (transaction type: PLG) to capture the pledge request received date.
Participants must ensure compliance by updating their systems and processes to mandatorily capture pledge request received date in system for all pledge requests.
Effectiveness
This enhancement will take effect from Mar. 22, 2025.
