ARI Submission Reminder
Claims administrators are reminded that the filing of the Annual report of inventory (ARI) must be submitted in early 2025 for claims reported in calendar year 2024.
CAL INS 4.5-1.5-2-10104 requires claims administrators to file, by Apr. 1 of each year, an ARI indicating the number of claims reported at each location for preceding year.
Even if no claims were reported, report must be completed and submitted to the DWC, each adjusting location required to submit ARI unless its requirement has been waived
When ARI requirements are waived, administrators must file annual report of adjusting locations on April 1 of each year for the location operations as of Dec. 31 of prior year.
Administrators required to report any change in the information reported in the ARI or annual report of adjusting location within 45 days of the effective date of the change.
Penalties of up to $500 per location for failure to timely file the report of inventory.
Submission Deadline
Claims administrators must submit the form prior to the Apr. 1, 2025 deadline.
Any document received after Apr. 1, 2025 considered late and subject to a penalty.
