  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Arizona small businesses injured due to the reduced revenues caused by drought that began on Sep. 26, 2023.
  • Eligibility
  • The primary county is Navajo along with neighboring Arizona counties of Apache, Coconino, Gila, and Graham, as well as the neighboring Utah county of San Juan.
  • Small non-farm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for EIDLs.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loans of up to $2mn are intended to help meet financial obligations, operating expenses which could have been met had disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on actual property damage.
  • Application Deadline
  • Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to SBA by Jul. 22, 2024.
