IRE GVT published the Central bank reform act 2010 (sections 20 and 22 credit unions) (amendment) regulations 2023 (StIn 454/2023), signed on Sep. 18, 2023.
New regulation 2A provides amendments in relation to regulated financial service providers that are credit unions and are also authorized as retail intermediaries.
Functions in schedules 1 and 1A prescribed as controlled functions and the controlled functions in schedules 2, 2A and 3 are prescribed as pre-approval controlled functions.
Effectiveness
The regulations come into operation on Oct. 1, 2024.
