SBA Oregon Disaster Loan Availability


On Sep. 7, SBA announced ORE EIDL loan availability due to drought.


  • SBA announced that economic injury disaster loans (EIDL) will be available to eligible counties in Oregon due to reduced revenues caused by drought that began on Jul. 4.
  • Eligibility
  • 21 counties in Oregon, three counties in Washington are eligible to apply for EIDL loan.
  • Covers economic impacts on those dependent on farmers/ranchers that suffered loss.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, aquaculture businesses and most private nonprofits are eligible to apply for up to $2mn in financial/operating expenses.
  • Businesses primarily engaged in farming or ranching are not eligible for SBA disaster assistance; should contact Farm Services Agency about assistance from the USDA.
