  • On Mar. 31, 2025, RUS CB published updated guide 1-MR on establishing criteria for A significant deviation in the volume of trading in securities, derivative financial instruments, foreign currency and commodities.
  • The recommendations enter into force on May 12, 2025 and from the date of entry into force methodological recommendations 1-MR dated Jan. 17, 2025 are invalidated.

On Jan. 18, RUS CB issued trading volume deviation criteria guidance.

  • RUS CB published methodological recommendations 1-MR for establishing criteria for a significant deviation in the volume of trading in goods.
  • The regulator recommended that a trade organizer include criteria for a significant deviation in volume of trades in goods compared to the level of trade in such goods.
  • Criteria would be formed without taking into account the actions provided for by part 1 art N 224-FZ, in their internal documents and send them RUS CB for information.
  • The recommended methodological criteria principles should be followed when establishing criteria, as well as algorithms for determining criteria, are given.
