IND NSE Clearing Members' API Facility

On Dec. 15, IND NSE introduced an API facility for clearing members.

  • IND NSE introduced application programming interface (API) facility in NCMS-FO.
  • Initially, API will be for trade download and actions inquiry for future and options (FO).

  • Currently, the trading system transfers online trades data to IND NSE clearing management system (NCMS) server, and NCMS client application residing at the members' end sends a periodical request to pull the data from the server.

  • Currently, data available on NCMS server only accessible to NCMS client application.
  • It is proposed to expose an application programming interface to members for trade and actions (any modifications performed on trades) inquiry for FO segment.

  • On Feb. 25, 2023, IND NSE informed members that the API Facility in NCMS FO is being released in live environment with effect from Feb. 27, 2023
  • To access the live URL, members must send an email with information such as primary member codes and IP addresses; API specification document contains more details.
  • Oct. 10, 2023 Release of Additional Facilities
  • On Oct. 10, 2023, IND NSE said additional facilities for approval rejection, custodian participant code modification are available in UAT environment from Oct. 10, 2023.
  • Members who wish to access the UAT URL for the first time are required to send an email with detailed information such as primary member code and member name.
  • Clearing members can refer attached API specification document for testing the facility.

  • Oct. 23, 2023 NCMS EXE Version
  • On Oct. 23, 2023, IND NSE said that the new NCMS EXE is available in the extranet server; members are mandatorily required to download and install the new version.

  • The new version of the NCMS shall be applicable with effect from Nov. 6, 2023.

  • Mar. 2024 NCMS EXE Decommission
  • On Mar. 11, 2024, IND NSE said NCMS exe is scheduled to be decommissioned by Apr. 30, 2024, members are required to test API for a smooth transition to NCMS API.
