On Dec. 28, FR GVT issued order modifying the rate of the premiums.
FR GVT issued an Order of Dec. 22, 2023 modifying rate of premiums relating to the natural disaster guarantee for contracts under article L. 125-2 of the Insurance Code.
Premium Changes
Article A. 125-2 of the Insurance Code is amended, with second paragraph, the rate of 6% is replaced by the rate of 9% and the rate of 0.5% is replaced by a rate of 0.75%.
Further, in the third paragraph, the current rate of 12% is replaced by the rate of 20%, and in the fourth paragraph, the present rate of 12% is replaced by the rate of 20%.
In addition, in the sixth paragraph, the rate of 12% is now replaced by a rate of 20%.
Effectiveness
The provisions of the Order come into force on Jan. 1, 2025, and apply to premiums and additional contributions due under contracts concluded or renewed from this date.
