Aim to examine ownership of foreign securities by US residents as of Dec. 31, 2024.
Also by US residents of foreign securities, including equities, long-term debt securities, and short-term debt securities (including selected money market instruments).
Survey Highlights
Collects information on holdings by US residents of foreign securities, such as equities, long-term/short-term debt securities (including some money market instruments).
Reporting form SHCA (2024) and instructions may be printed from the internet.
Entities required to report will be contacted individually by the Fed of New York.
The entities that are not contacted will have no reporting responsibilities.
Effectiveness
Data must be submitted to the Fed of New York by Mar. 7, 2025
