New section introduced by bill will clarify anesthesia time, among other things.
In relation to a relevant anesthesia practitioner, sets out duration of coverage.
Bill also sets out anesthesiologists guidance, and clarified meaning of insurer as defined under OKL INS 36:1250.2, and the insurer's practice, policy, and procedure.
As per relevant provision, insurers are restricted from imposing a time limit on the amount of covered anesthesia services during a medical or surgical procedure.
Bill also sets out insurer's obligations on coverage or payment of anesthesia.
