On Apr. 9, 2025, DEN GVT published the final executive order (BEK 2025/366) on behalf of DEN Tax, dated Apr. 7, 2025 on identification/reporting of financial accounts.
The changes affect Appendix 1 of Executive Order (BEK) 2024/398, of Apr. 15, 2024, showing list of countries as Participating Jurisdictions, in terms of required reporting.
The list if countries is split into List A, and List A covering countries with exchange agreements with EU in list, and those with Exchange Agreements with Denmark in B.
The terms of the new executive order will now all enter into force on Apr. 30, 2025.
DEN GVT consulted on executive order amending the executive order on the identification and reporting of financial accounts linked to foreign countries.
Follows DEN GVT Apr. 2024 amended order re foreign country accounts, see #208981.
Purpose
Change to the list of participating jurisdictions in Annex 1 of the Executive Order.
List A includes EU countries and countries with exchange agreements with the EU.
List B includes other countries with which Denmark has exchange agreements, primarily through the OECD's multilateral agreement; there are no changes to List A.
In list B countries have been added: Armenia, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal and Uganda.
The amendment to the annex is proposed to enter into force on Apr. 30, 2025.
The exchange of information with the new countries on List B will first take place for 2024, where the reporting deadline is May 1, 2025.

Comments can be submitted until Mar. 26, 2025.
