SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma small businesses to offset economic losses caused by drought that began on Apr. 30, 2024.
Eligibility
EIDLs available in primary OKL county Beaver and neighboring OKL counties of Ellis, Harber, Texas; KNS counties Clark, Meade, Seward; TX counties Lipscomb, Ochiltree.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the victim entities had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only and not on any actual damage.
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply for economic injury loans is Feb. 24, 2025.
