  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma small businesses to offset economic losses caused by drought that began on Apr. 30, 2024.
  • Eligibility
  • EIDLs available in primary OKL county Beaver and neighboring OKL counties of Ellis, Harber, Texas; KNS counties Clark, Meade, Seward; TX counties Lipscomb, Ochiltree.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
  • EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the victim entities had the disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only and not on any actual damage.
  • Application Deadline
  • The deadline to apply for economic injury loans is Feb. 24, 2025.
