On Feb. 23, BRZ CB consolidated fundraising reporting regulations.
Consolidated regulations governing the reporting to BRZ CB of information related to funding abroad by financial institutions and entities authorized by BRZ CB.
Applicable Information
The institutions referred to in Art. 1 must report information related to funding abroad, including fundraising operations; payment of principal; and stock of funding.
Information must cover the operations of institutions in the same conglomerate, in accordance with accounting standard of institutions regulated by BRZ CB (Cosif).
Payment institutions must report information current as of October 1, 2022.
Reporting Institutions
Information must be calculated on an individual basis by an institution and reported by leading institution of each conglomerate, re institutions are part of the conglomerate.
Also reported by cooperative banks, central credit cooperatives, referring to cooperatives that are part of organized three- or two-level systems.
Finally, by authorized financial institutions that do not belong to conglomerates.
Recordkeeping
Records of information must be kept at the disposal of BRZ CB for five years, as well as the documentation of the methodology for its calculation and the respective data.
Effectiveness
Resolution 193 revokes circular 3,737 of Dec. 2014, circular 3,759 of Jun. 2015.
Resolution enters into force on May 1, 2022.
Mar. 2022 Reporting Procedures
On Mar. 31, 2022, BRZ CB Instruction 264 to change and consolidate the procedures for reporting information on fundraising abroad; revoked several circulars.
Filing information referred to in Art. 1 of Resolution 193 of Feb. 23, 2022, must be carried out through code document 2300, pursuant to the Annex to this Instruction.
Instruction 264 enters into force on May 1, 2022.
Nov. 2024 BRZ CB Updated Instructions
On Nov. 6, 2024, BRZ CB published Instruction 544 to amend filling out instructions for document 2300, Fundraising Abroad, covered by Instruction 264, of Mar. 31, 2022.
The new version will come into force for financing conducted as of Jan. 2, 2025.
Allowed submission of CtCosif tag to ALCR001 files data between Jan. 2, Mar. 31, 2025
Instruction 544 shall come into force on Jan. 2, 2025.
