  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Wyoming small businesses suffering economic losses due to drought that began on Jul. 9, 2024.
  • Eligibility
  • Includes primary Wyoming counties of Albany, Crook and neighboring Wyoming counties of Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Laramie, Natrona, Platte and Weston.
  • Also eligible neighboring Colorado counties of Jackson, Larimer; neighboring Montana counties of Carter and Powder River; neighboring SD counties: Butte and Lawrence.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs up to $2 million.
  • EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the impacted businesses had the disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any property damage.
  • Deadline
  • Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to SBA by May 5, 2025.
