SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Wyoming small businesses suffering economic losses due to drought that began on Jul. 9, 2024.
Eligibility
Includes primary Wyoming counties of Albany, Crook and neighboring Wyoming counties of Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Laramie, Natrona, Platte and Weston.
Also eligible neighboring Colorado counties of Jackson, Larimer; neighboring Montana counties of Carter and Powder River; neighboring SD counties: Butte and Lawrence.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs up to $2 million.
EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the impacted businesses had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any property damage.
Deadline
Completed applications for EIDLs must be submitted to SBA by May 5, 2025.
