DEN Tax consulted on draft executive orders on non-profit lottery, land-based bingo, and on partial exemption of certain games from the Money laundering act.
Purpose is to implement rules in L27 - Proposal for an act amending the act on gambling and the act on taxes on gambling (new rules on non-profit lotteries and liberalization of land-based bingo), which is under consideration in parliament.
Purpose of draft executive orders is to implement rules in L27: Proposal for an Act to amend the Danish Gambling Act and the Danish Gaming Duties Act (new rules on non-profit lotteries and liberalization of land-based bingo).
Bill being considered by parliament expected to enter into force Nov. 21, 2024.
Re draft executive order on the partial exemption of certain games from the money laundering act, it is noted that this is an addition of land-based bingo to the games that are already partially exempt from the Money laundering act.
Effectiveness
Comments on the drafts must be submitted by Nov. 29, 2024.

Dec. 2024 Order Issued
On Dec. 10, 2024, DEN GVT issued order on partial exemption of certain games from money laundering act, pursuant to AML S 1(7) cf Consolidated act 807, Jun. 21, 2024.
The Executive Order entered into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
