Bill Provisions
Prohibits insurers, health care service contractors, health maintenance organizations from requiring dentists to provide at set fee dental care services that are not covered.
Also prohibits third-party administrators from making available dental plan that sets fee for service by dental care provider in the network that is not a covered service.
A fee for a covered dental service must be set in good faith and may not be nominal.
