On Feb. 7, 2025, EU CNCL issued corrigendum to Reg 2024/2455 of Sep. 12, 2024 implementing Reg 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
Also, corrigendum to Dec (CFSP) 2024/2456 of Sep. 12, 2024 amending Dec 2014/145/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
Removes associated individuals from entry 17 in the column ‘Identifying information’.
On Sep. 12, EU CNCL extended restrictive measures by six months.
EU CNCL renewed individual restrictive measures targeting those responsible for undermining or threatening Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence.
Restrictive measures have been extended by six months, until Mar. 15, 2025.
Follows EU CNCL Jun. 2024 adopted 14th package of Russia sanctions, see #216978.
Sanctions Review
Existing measures provide for travel restrictions for natural persons, freezing of assets, ban on making funds or other economic resources available to individuals and entities.
Sanctions will continue to apply to over 2200 individuals and entities, many of which are targeted in response to Russia’s ongoing military aggression against Ukraine.
In the context of the sanctions' review, EU CNCL also decided not to renew the listings of two individuals and remove five deceased persons from the list.

On Sep. 13, 2024, EU CNCL issued Dec (CFSP) 2024/2456 of Sep. 12, 2024 amending Dec 2014/145/CFSP re restrictive measures regarding actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
Council Implementing Reg 2024/2455 of Sep. 12, 2024 implementing Reg 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
The decision and regulation enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, and will be effective until Mar. 15, 2025.
