On Mar. 7, ITA INS issued a letter to the market re DORA reporting.

  • ITA INS published a letter to the market with its instructions and terms for submitting remotely the information register report required by the DORA regulation.
  • Follows EU Dec. 2022 issued DORA Dir 2022/2556, Reg 2022/2554, see #137568.
  • Main Points
  • In scope entities must report new agreements re use of ICT services, the categories of third-party ICT service providers, type of contracts and the acquired ICT functions.
  • Upon request, entities shall make the register of information available to authorities.
  • Reg 2024/2956 laid down implementing technical standards for the application of the DORA with reference to standard templates to be used for the information register.
  • Transmission of the information register must use the DORA survey on the Infostat platform, already in use for the generality of supervisory, statistical reports to ITA INS.
  • The user delegated to transmit the data will be able to proceed with the delivery of the message using the method described in paragraphs 4 and 5 of the online user manual.
  • Details on the reports' formats, and naming conventions to be use for the files.
