On Jan. 7, NLD DNB announced deadline to exchange old banknotes.
NLD DNB announced that old guilder banknotes still to be handed in until May 2025.
Three types of guilder banknotes can be exchanged at NLD DB for a short time: the two types of the five-guilder note are 2.27 EUR and a 25-guilder note is 11.34 EUR.
The regulator noted that 34mn guilder notes have not yet been exchanged.
The other guilder banknotes can be exchanged until Jan. 1, 2032.
Effectiveness
Until May 1, 2025, citizens can get money from NLD DNB for five-guilder notes with Vondel and 25-guilder notes with Sweelinck, in accordance with exchanging guilders.
