On Oct.9, ECC updated technical equipment implementation regulation.
ECC issued amended Implementation Regulation of European Commodity Clearing AG Concerning Technical Equipment (Ref. 0003) regarding the registration process of Participant Software, following EUREX Clearing C7 Release 11.0 (see #213716).
Amendments
Changes to Sec. 17 of Implementation Regulation to reflect that, if contractual party uses own software to communicate with clearing system, must register that at ECC.
If the contractual party uses software of third-party to communicate with the clearing system, both third party and software must be registered at ECC by the third party.
Effectiveness
The amendments will take effect as of Oct. 30, 2024.
